During the pandemic, more than 100,000 restaurants in Latin America were forced to close, and only a small percentage had adopted digital solutions for delivery or takeout. PepsiCo needed an effective tool to support the industry’s reopening and prepare its clients for a transformed consumer and communication landscape. At Wiper, we developed “Capacitación KM”, a digital and audiovisual learning platform made up of six interactive episodes. Through these modules, restaurant owners and staff learned how to improve their social media presence, strengthen communication at the point of sale, leverage partnerships and promotions, and apply best business practices. Each episode included short assessments that allowed users to progress and eventually earn PepsiCo’s official KM certification. The impact was immediate: 73% of restaurant owners completed the training, and 90% of registered users finished the entire program.
